I want a Microsoft Surface Studio monitor
Microsoft's beautiful Surface Studio is a PC that's much more than an all-in-one. While you can do all the regular PC things you'd expect from a Windows PC, it's really the screen that makes it different from a regular computer. It's a screen that folds down to transform the PC into a drawing board, designed for stylus, touch, and new Dial input. It's unlike any regular all-in-one PC we've seen before, but I want to turn any laptop into a Surface Studio. As speculation mounted over Microsoft's ..>> view originalFacebook pulls in over $7 billion in quarterly revenue

Out of that massive influx of cash, Facebook posted a net income of $2.37 billion, a massive increase of more than 165 percent compared to its profit for the same period in 2015. Google Play Store Takes Steps to Fight Fake Reviews With the huge number of choices for what we purchase, we’ve come to depend on reviews for making smart choices, whether it’s selecting an app, choosing a restaurant, or making a purchase. Scientists have found a lake under an ocean in the Gulf of Mexico, dubbing it the "Jacuzzi of Despair" for its high salt content and temperature that has killed creatures who accidentally fall into it.The "crater-like, circular, brine-filled pool" rises about 10 feet above the seafloor, with brine pouring out of one side in a "spectacular waterfall," according to the findings published in the journal Oceanography. There’s a lot of unease out there among Mac users. First, there was the lack of 2016 updates to any Mac model that wasn’t the littlest MacBook. The Mac Pro and Mac mini have languished for several years with nary an update. And MacBook Pro users were hungry for a new model—and fueled by constant rumors all year of brand-new laptops that were just over the horizon. Then we finally got the new MacBook Pro, and it’s loaded with a lot of cool stuff, but…the reaction wasn’t quite what Apple might..>> view originalFirst Click: Microsoft Teams leaves the office door open for Slack
Microsoft launched its new chat-based Teams app yesterday, and the immediate reaction from many is that Slack is doomed. Some of that was Slack's own fault. In an unusually arrogant move, Slack decided to take out a full-page newspaper ad in the New York Times yesterday, just hours before Microsoft was set to even unveil its chat offering. It set the stage for direct Slack and Microsoft Team comparisons before we'd even seen Teams, and it made Slack look rather scared. But I'm not sure Slack ne..>> view originalThe world is racing to stop climate change. But the math still doesn't add up

You’ve seen the hype, surely. LeEco put on a heck of a spectacle in San Francisco the other week, with a US debut that featured everything from bicycles and electric cars to a cameo appearance by beloved indie filmmaker Michael Bay, the auteur behind such mumblecore fare as Transformers 3 and Transformers 4 shot on the set of Transformers 5. The company threw a LOT against the wall when it highlighted its plan to conquer the US, but its first steps will, predictably, be in more tried and true ..>> view original
